One of the hottest rising stars in urban corrido music is heading to the Tri-Cities. Junior H, a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and guitarist, will be performing in Kennewick this fall on a highly anticipated tour.

The LiveNation-produced tour will take the Mexico native through multiple cities for a total of 21 shows, with his Kennewick show in the middle of the tour.

Junior H has over 8.6 million streams on Spotify with songs like “El Plumas”, a song linked to his musical origins, and “El Hijo Mayor”, a corrido or ballad, with over 700,000 streams on YouTube and Spotify.

His new album released in February 2022, “Mi Vida En Un Cigarro Vol. 2,” reached over 100,000 streams on Spotify alone, which is quite an achievement for him as an artist, especially in the urban corrido genre, according to a press release.

When he released his song “Atrapado En Un Sueño” in 2020, Junior H became one of the youngest artists to reach the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart at the age of 20, reports the communicated.

His music has since been streamed around the world, with millions of fans connecting to his music about ambition, optimism, street life and toxic relationships, the statement said.

Junior H will perform at 7:45 p.m. on October 15 at the Toyota Center.

Ticket presales begin June 15 at 10 a.m. and end June 16 at 10 p.m. local time. General public sales will be available on June 17 at 10 a.m.
