Today, Spotify is excited to announce a brand new partner program for independent artists in Pakistan. Centered around the Pakistan fresh produce playlist, the aim of the program is to help developing artists learn, collaborate and grow, giving them the tools necessary for long-term and sustainable professional success.
Since its global launch in 2016, Fresh Finds has listed more than 25,000 artists, their average monthly listeners increased 108% within 28 days of the announcement, compared to the previous 28 days. For artists whose first Spotify editorial playlist is Fresh Finds, over 44% are then added to another editorial playlist on Spotify.
Among the artists of the initial “class” of Pakistan fresh produce are Farheen Raza Jaffry, Gemini Djs, and Lil mucid. These newcomers will benefit from a substantial range of opportunities, including:
- Education and access to resources: Each artist will have access to an array of tools and opportunities to accelerate their career, including personalized masterclasses and mentoring, Spotify resources for artists, and more.
- Marketing support: Artists who will be part of Fresh Finds Pakistan will be supported in different verticals. First-hand editorial and platform support, like the many playlists curated on Spotify, in addition to the bespoke social promotion that lets fans around the world experience their music.
Fresh Find Pakistan will be added to the global hub which includes up to 15 New Regional Fresh Finds Playlists from all over the world, including Brazil, Spain, Australia / NZ, UK / IE, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore / Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Italy, Germany / Switzerland / Austria, South Korea, and Turkey, to further Spotify’s mission of helping developing artists find a global fan base.
