Amazon Prime is set to get expensive from December 13, check out the new price list
Amazon will increase the price of its annual subscription plan by Rs 500 from December 13. Other plans will also be affected.

If you are planning to get an Amazon Prime subscription, you only have a few days left to get the subscription at the old price. Indeed, Amazon is ready to increase the price of the Prime subscription from December 13th. The price change would affect Amazon Prime’s annual, monthly, and quarterly plans currently. Amazon had confirmed the price change on its support page.
According to the new price list, the main annual membership will cost Rs 500 more. This means that the annual plan which is now priced at Rs 999, will cost Rs 1499 after December 13th, the quarterly subscription plan which is priced at Rs 329 will be priced at Rs 459 and the monthly plan which currently costs Rs 129 in India, will be priced at Rs 179. It is important to note that existing Prime members will not be affected by the price increase. However, Prime members will need to pay the new price once their existing Prime membership ends.
âExisting Prime members can continue their membership for the duration of their membership at the current price. However, after the price change, you can choose to renew your subscription at the new price, âAmazon Prime notes on its website.
Youth membership plans, on the other hand, will now cost less. Youth membership plans are available for users between the ages of 18 and 24. The new plan is now priced at Rs 749. These memberships will see their prices drop, instead of an increase. The supply of young members will rise to Rs 499, which now stands at Rs 749, at Rs 499. Monthly and quarterly Prime membership will be reduced to Rs 64 against Rs 89 and Rs 164 against Rs 299 respectively.

Another most important benefit is access to the Prime Day sale which takes place every year exclusively for Prime members. Members also get early access to any mega-sale events hosted by the company.
