Dongri Danger is Sumaira Shaikh’s first-ever comedy special and she’s been preparing it since 2017. Five years of hard work has finally paid off for this writer-actress who is getting into stand-up comedy after making us laugh with her previous projects. as a writer, including Pushpavalli. AIB, and Sons of Abish, among others. In this comedy special, we will see Sumaira taking road trips, her love for gangsters, growing up in Dongri and meeting her father with Dawood. With this, Sumaira joins the gang of actresses comprising Sumukhi Suresh, Aishwarya Mohanraj, Neeti Palta and Shreeja Chautrvedi to name a few.

At one point in the trailer, Sumaira notes that when a group of friends argue with one of the friends, they go ahead and create a new WhatsApp group minus that friend. While Sumaira previously worked as one of the screenwriters for Pushpavalli, the Amazon Original series starring comedian Sumukhi Suresh, their relationship is doing a role reversal, as Sumukhi takes the director’s seat with this comedy special. It will be interesting to see the two stand-up comedians come together again to give us a rib-tickling comedy special.
